About the Press
Planck Length Publishing is a very small press dedicated to cultivating the speculative arts in coastal North Carolina and beyond. Founded in 2025 by Autumn and Jack Ware, PLP builds on the foundation of EPIC Carteret, the NC Arts Council-funded podcast that showcases the people and places that make the Crystal Coast extraordinary.
PLP’s first imprint, EPIC Carteret Books, expands this mission by publishing uplifting, place-based storytelling that highlights regional voices, history, and culture. This imprint serves as a home for poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, and community-driven narratives that celebrate the richness of coastal life.
